A NEW YEAR'S GREETING FROM THE PRESIDENT AT THE BEGINNING Of this new year, allow me to express the following wishes: First, I sincerely hope that the ofllcers of the Society will be able to lend their complete and spontaneous assistance to our association. May all the teachers and department heads utilize to the utmost their knowledge and devotion m an effort to transmit the best possible theoretical and practical instruction to young anaesthetists. May all candidates for training in this specialty follow their teachers' in- structions carefully and study this vast and rapidly groveing science enthusi- astically. May all anaesthesists work in a peaceful environment and maintain the most cordial relations with eyeD'one with whom they come into contact in the daily practice of their functions. Enjoy your work!
