A methodology for the scientometric expert evaluation of research results

A methodology for the scientometric expert evaluation of research results A new methodology based on the tools of fuzzy calculations and the method of expert estimates is proposed for the expert evaluation of research results. The multicomponent methodology uses scientometric indices for the evaluation of the quality of the results of the research activities of research institutes and scientific teams. The methodology can be adapted to different spheres of science due to the ability to vary a number of parameters and weight coefficients according to the specifics of their application. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Automatic Documentation and Mathematical Linguistics Springer Journals

Abstract

A new methodology based on the tools of fuzzy calculations and the method of expert estimates is proposed for the expert evaluation of research results. The multicomponent methodology uses scientometric indices for the evaluation of the quality of the results of the research activities of research institutes and scientific teams. The methodology can be adapted to different spheres of science due to the ability to vary a number of parameters and weight coefficients according to the specifics of their application.
