Evaluation of a model of blocking probability in all-optical mesh networks without wavelength... We describe the design and performance of a wide-area all-optical network. An improved model of the benefits of wavelength changers in all-optical mesh networks is presented and comparisons are made to simulations. Abstract

We describe the design and performance of a wide-area all-optical network. An improved model of the benefits of wavelength changers in all-optical mesh networks is presented and comparisons are made to simulations.
