In this edition, we welcome Dr Rajiv Shah from India who outlines the development of subspecialty foot and ankle care to one of the world’s largest populations. Communication between those who have participated in the rapid growth of foot and ankle in North America and the innovators who are in the challenging startup phase is critical to the ultimate integration of evidence-based medicine (EBM) protocols for the good of the world’s population.In 2011, we launched FAS European Edition with our European production office in London, England. We are excited with the prospects of having our European authors able to more directly share their experiences and research with their colleagues.
