He has many years of research experience in governance, politics, and civil society. He is currently working on the politics and economics of drug control policies in Africa. ALLAMAN ALLAMANI, MD, Psychiatrist, has been since 1993 Coordinator of Centro Alcologico, now at the Florence Health Agency, and consultant to the Region of Tuscany Health Agency, (allamana @gmail.com). He is a clinician and also prevention researcher. He is author or co- author of 150 articles, and editor of 14 books, on epidemiology, treatment programs, community action and prevention policies in the field of alcohol and addiction.
