Notes on Contributors FIONA HUTTON is a senior lecturer in criminology at the Institute of Criminology at Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. Her research interests focus on gender, young people, alcohol, and drugs. She is currently involved in a three-year Marsden-funded project exploring youth drinking cultures and social networking sites. Recent articles include “Kiwis, clubs and drugs: Club cultures in Wellington, New Zealand” (2010) and “‘Is your city pretty anyway?’ Perspectives on graffiti and the urban landscape” (2012, with Mike Rowe). SARAH WRIGHT holds a Ph.D. in criminology from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand. She has a strong interest in the intersections between youth cultures, crime, substance use, and the media. She is currently employed as a researcher in alcohol issues at the Health Promotion Agency in New Zealand. EMMA SAUNDERS has a background in forensic psychology. She now leads an insight and strategy consultancy. ANDREW IVSINS is pursuing his Ph.D. in sociology at the University of Victoria, in affiliation with the Centre for Addictions Research of British Columbia. His CIHR-funded dissertation will examine the under-researched area of health-risk practices among noninjection drug users.
