Email:Hans.jelbring@telia.com Why is a professor in Physical Geography at Université Jean Moulin, Lyon, writing a massive book with the title “Global Warming – Myth or Reality” with the sub title “The Erring Ways of Climatology”? The author is also Directeur du Laboratoir de Climatologie, Risques Naturels, Environmental, Is he an eccentric promoting his personal views, with a touch of French originality? He is certainly ignoring the Intergovernmental Panel of Climate Change (IPCC ) consensus telling us that the major cause of global warming are human emissions of carbon dioxide, at a 90% confidence level. The list of references tends to support such a view. Professor Marcel Leroux is quoting twenty-one of his own works. The four IPCC reports are the only ones printed in bold letters. Is this done to emphasize their importance or to single out the major object of Leroux′ dislike or even displeasure? His book does contain
