An electron microscopic study of the morphology of fat absorption in the duodenum of normal and fat-fed mice supports the view that all absorbed fat passes through the cytoplasm of absorptive cells. The Golgi complex plays an important role in the transport of fat across these cells. Footnotes Submitted: 5 July 1955
