Abstract: Shofar aims to promote the exchange of ideas and information among teachers and scholars of Jewish Studies. We recognize that academic conferences related to Jewish Studies provide substantial and creative material that assist educators in their endeavor to incorporate the concepts and themes of Judaic scolarship into their classes. Periodically, Shofar will feature issues of substance, collegiality, and general interest that emerge from the annual meetings of the Midwest Jewish Studies Association and the Western Jewish Studies Association, as well as other conferences.
