Bohater, spisek, śmierć: Wykłady żydowskie (Hero, Conspiracy, Death: The Jewish Lectures)... in Poland is joyless and sometimes tragic. Such an evaluation resulted from the experience of the intervening years--the pauperization of Jewish society because of the economic depression of the first half of the 1930s and growing antisemitism in Poland after the death of Pilsudski. The moderate optimism still noticeable in the first part of the 1930s, as depicted in the text of ydzi w Polsce Odrodzonej ( Jews in the Restored Poland), had vanished. Both publications have been digitized during the last years and are available to researchers from all over the world in the Polish Internet libraries: ydzi w Polsce Odrodzonej ( Jews in the restored Poland), in the Digital Library of Major Poland (http://www.wbc.poznan.pl), and "Glos Gminy ydowskiej" (The Voice of the Jewish Community) in the e-buw, the electronic collection of the University of Warsaw Library (http://ebuw.uw.edu.pl).
