What are some of the leadership roles you have taken? As well as being Director of Participation for the National Development Team, I have until recently been the Co-Chair of my local learning disability partnership board in Hammersmith and Fulham and was Co-ordinator of Hammersmith and Fulham ‘People First’ during the later part of the 1990s. I have also worked as Community Organisation Development Worker, for the Elfreda Society (which involved working with people with learning disabilities who wanted to set up their own ‘social firms’), Co-ordinator of People First Lambeth (where I helped them to become an independent organisation.), and Employment Adviser Camden (where I helped to set up an agency to support people with learning disabilities to find work). I was also Joint Co-ordinator for national People First. have been working with the National Development Team for over three years as Director of Participation.
