Christa Davis a Campora dear readers, he past season has been exceptionally busy for the journal, and i am pleased t to announce several major changes. Most significant is the partnership we have entered into with the north american nietzsche society (nans) to become the venue for select papers from their annual meetings. this new arrangement will result in an expansion of JNS in 2013 to three issues annually. this issue is the first to feature nans papers. i am especially grateful to richard schacht, executive director of nans, Patrick alexander, director at Penn state university Press, the JNS editorial board, and the program committee of nans for their patience, guidance, and good will as we worked out the details of this exciting new venture. With this new development, we happily welcome a new associate editor, Jessica Berry, who joins the editorial team with primary responsibilities for the nans issue. Berry is no stranger to the journal, as she was the guest editor of issue 42, our most recent. she is associate professor of philosophy at Georgia state university in atlanta and author of Nietzsche and the Ancient Skeptical Tradition (oxford: oxford university Press, 2011). her work on nietzsche
