Abstract
International Journal of Public Opinion Research Vol. 7 No. 3 0954—2892/95 S3.00 In this section the International Journal of Public Opinion Research will publish short reports about past and future activities of the World Association for Public Opinion Research and its members as well as previews of forthcoming conferences and seminars which might be of interest to its readers. The managing editor appreciates any information sent in from the JournaFs subscribers and readers which might help to make this section as topical and interesting as possible. FORMER WAPOR PRESIDENTS HONORED Former WAPOR President Elizabeth H. Nelson has been awarded an Honorary Doctorate of Science by the City University in London for her contribution to market research. Former President and IJPOR Editor Robert M. Worcester has been awarded the President's Medal by the Institute of Public Relations in the United Kingdom for distinguished service to PR.
