This area, owing to the recent situations in Iraq and Afghanistan, is fast becoming a particularly contentious area of international law and affairs. It therefore comes as no surprise that Simon Chesterman also turns his attention to the administration of post-conflict Iraq and Afghanistan and produces a book that, while vast in scope, undoubtedly contributes to the existing literature on the area.
