In section 3.3, an incorrect abbreviation was given in the following sentence: ‘In both Arizona and California, the introduction of significant drought in the AZXD case causes natural-gas (CT and CT) plant start-up/shutdown cycling to increase.’ The sentence should have read: ‘In both Arizona and California, the introduction of signifi- cant drought in the AZXD case causes natural-gas (CC and CT) plant start-up/shutdown cycling to increase.’ This has now been corrected in the published article. © The Author(s) 2019.
