She specializes in foreign policy decision making, with a specific interest in development cooperation and small states, as well as the politics of intercoun- try adoption. She has also published on women in the profession and interna- tional studies curriculum. Her publications include numerous journal articles and book chapters, and three books. Jeff Bridoux is Lecturer in the Department of International Politics, Aber- ystwyth University. His research focuses on power in International Relations, American foreign policy, post-conflict reconstruction, democracy promotion, and the Middle East. He is the author of American Foreign Policy and Postwar Reconstruc- tion (Routledge, 2011), and Democracy Promotion: A Critical Introduction (Routl- edge, forthcoming). His work has been published in International Relations, Journal of Intervention and Statebuilding, International Journal of Human Rights, and Third World Quarterly. David Dulio is associate professor and chair of the Political Science Depart- ment at Oakland University in Rochester, MI. His research focuses on campaigns and elections. Courtney Hillebrecht is an assistant professor of Political Science at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where she specializes in human rights and inter- national law. Her
