Erratum to “Breastfeeding and Maternal Hypertension” ERRATUM doi:10.1093/ajh/hpy042 e o Th riginal publication of this article included an error regarding the description of hormones in the Introduction and Discussion sections. The following changes have been made to the corrected version: Page 1, paragraph 3, line 8: Third, ghrelin and the protein peptide YY, a gut-secreted peptide hormone that regulates appetite and is associated with breastfeeding, may also reduce the risk of these diseases. Page 4, paragraph 3, line 18: Breastfeeding may also increase plasma ghrelin levels, which decrease food intake and body weight by increasing the release of agouti-related protein and neuropeptide Y in the arcuate nucleus. e a Th uthors regret this error.
