Her research and teaching interests focus on international cooperation, speciªcally on the impact of domestic politics on achieving cooperation as well as the cooperative outcome itself. She has primarily looked at how nations apply the Law of the Sea in praxis, both in negotiations over boundaries as well as ªsheries. • Graeme Auld (graeme.auld@yale.edu) is a Ph.D. candidate at Yale University’s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. His recent publications include “Choosing How to be Green: An Examination of Domtar Inc.’s Approach to Forest Certiªcation,” forthcoming in the Journal of Strategic Management Education; and Governing Through Markets: Forest Certiªcation and the Emergence of Non-State Authority (with Benjamin Cashore and Deanna Newsom) published by Yale University Press in 2004. His current research examines variation in the global development of market-based certiªcation programs across and within sectors. • Benjamin Cashore (benjamin.cashore@yale.edu) is an associate professor of environmental governance at Yale University’s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies.
