The nineteen essays included in this book each deal in depth with specific problems arising in the area of state aid law and thus, offer a good overview on a rich variety of issues. A new book on EU state aid law is always a welcome contribution to the literature, as it is no secret that the subject of EU state aid law is a rather neglected topic, especially in comparison with other areas of EU competition law.
