A lot of ink has already flowed on the Kadi case. Yet, it still magnificently crystallizes the complexity of our overlapped world and constitutes the paradigmatic example ­ consequently a nice starting point ­ for several of the most topical issues in international and European law.Therefore, a work taking the case as the central single object of study in order to explore the different questions it raised is all the more pertinent. This collection of essays tries to respond to this need in a rather ambitious inter-disciplinary approach. So, addressing the more topical kadian issues in a way that draws on multiple perspectives, which goes beyond the former academic debate is the editors' avowed aim. Considering the traditional debate on the complicated Kadi case, one can easily agree that there really was a need for this kind of challenging work.
