HCI, has been solved by direct methods with the MULTAN program. Crystal data are: space group Pbca, Z= 8, a= 25.02 (2), b = 12.90 (8), c= 8.56 (5)/~,. The final R value is 0.051. The CI- anion is responsible for crystalline cohesion.
