Research and development organisations have been considered key drivers for technical change and economic development. However, even these organisations are intensive in knowledge generation, its decision-making process occurs in emergency conditions. Despite of the advances both in conceptual and practical approaches to KM integration into DM processes, there is still a research gap in how KM processes are integrated and interact on each DM phase. This paper aims to present the design of conceptual model for KM processes integration, into strategic DM at R&D organisations, based on three sequential stages. First, qualitative content analysis is used to identify critical relationships and factors in KM and DM scientific literature. Second, a matrix relation scheme was adapted to visualise KM processes integration into each DM. Third, a standardised representation of an integrated KM-DM process is developed using the business process integration method based on the BPMN standard. Finally, the integrated model is presented.
