The last three decades have witnessed a buildup in the emergence of a succession of different types of environmental group: the conservationists, the anti-pollution groups and the counter-expertise groups. Now there is a need for ecodevelopment trailblazers. These successive generations have different tools and approaches, but for their common goal of preserving the planet, they have to cooperate ever more intensely.
