Abstract
PurposeThe purpose of this paper is to analyse the enotourism sector, which is likely to continue to accelerate. As a product, it is well aligned with the hospitality and tourism industry.Design/methodology/approachThe paper is based on information drawn from official sources.FindingsIn Porto, the Fladgate Partnership is currently developing a World of Wine concept which will bring together a number of attractions inside the old Port lodges in the centre of the city.Originality/valueIn a world looking for new experiences, enotourism is one of the few types of tourism that can literally touch all the senses.
