THE Arsenal VB10 C1 has already been briefly described in AIRCRAFT ENGINEERING, but it was felt that the whole approach to the structural problems was so unusual as to warrant more detailed treatment. The interest of the VB10 C1 falls into several categories the tandem engine installation the girder fuselage structure the wing structure the tail unit structure, and several miscellaneous items, including the undercarriage layout. Everything points to originality of approach and thoughtful design of details.
