THERE is some doubt in haulage contractors' minds that the compulsory fitting of tachographs to commercial vehicles, to ensure that legal travelling distances are observed, will make some existing gearboxmounted automatic lubricating systems impossible to install, because the speedometer takeoff point to which they are connected will in future activate the sealed on tachograph.
