Reaction of 4amino3thio1,2,4triazolidine with etnylacetoacetate and acetoacetanilide produced 4ethylacetoacetamino3thio, 1,2,4triazolidine and 4acetoacetanilidamino, 3thio1,2,4triazolidine respectively. These were characterised by elemental analysis, 1Rand 1HNMR spectra. Each compound was tested as antifoulant in marine paint formulation in the presence of tributyftin fluoride as a cotoxin. Abstract

Reaction of 4amino3thio1,2,4triazolidine with etnylacetoacetate and acetoacetanilide produced 4ethylacetoacetamino3thio, 1,2,4triazolidine and 4acetoacetanilidamino, 3thio1,2,4triazolidine respectively.
