The presence of women inthese positions has helped them in their climb up the corporate ladderand allowed them to begin to break through the glassceiling. However, entrance into these uppermanagement positionshas not come without costs to women. Isolation and loneliness, owing totoken status, sexsegregated work, and sexual harassment, commonly occuramong women.
