OUR visit to Fulmer led through the leafy lanes of Buckinghamshire and, although we were no more than twenty miles from London, we were in the heart of the English countryside. As we wound our way through the rhododendronlined drive and came upon Fulmer Hall, gleaming white in the sunshine and most pleasantly situated amidst carefully tended grassy slopes, lawns and gardens, we were prompted to look again at our invitation. Was Fulmer Hall really our destination, was this it, had we taken a wrong turning, and if not, what had this delightful place to do with lubrication
