The introduction of EEC directives relating to packaging radicallychanges the way packaging will be controlled throughout the EEC.Migration testing is costly and difficult to achieve. Due diligencethrough the supplier chain is discussed to indicate how the chain willwork to ensure conformity with the directives. Difficulty ofenforcement, given the high cost, is discussed with a recommendationthat infactory enforcement has to be the way forward.
