A. Morrison, Randall White, E. Velsor (1994)
Breaking the glass ceiling : can women reach the top of America's largest corporations?
Examines the equal opportunities problems associated in the US,particularly, with regard to women and the coloured community andpromotion to management jobs. Shows that white males still dominate and, while their involvement in choosing possible successors is still strong, the prevention of others to entry will continue. Differing types ofsolution are discussed and the conclusion is that the glassceiling, while not being broken, is at least showing signs ofcracking.
