Multiple Performance Measures in the Selection of a Sequencing Rule

Multiple Performance Measures in the Selection of a Sequencing Rule While it is well known that managers make scheduling decisionsbased on multiple objectives, the majority of sequencing research isdirected towards single criterion assessments of scheduling performance.A preference value decision model approach for the selection of job shopsequencing rules using multiple performance criteria is presented. Themodel is general in nature and may be applied to any of a number ofsequencing rules and performance measures. A case example is provided toillustrate the procedure. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png International Journal of Operations & Production Management Emerald Publishing
