MULTIGRADED Motor Oils

MULTIGRADED Motor Oils Several papers presented before the S.A.E. Summer Meeting at Atlantic City this year were concerned with the new multigraded low viscosity motor oils. It was agreed by all authors that oils such as SAE 5W20, SAE 20W30, etc., were here to stay and at the same time there was general agreement that high viscosity index oils meet modern engine requirements best. It is of course due to the availability of V.I. improvers that it is possible to provide these multiple viscosity grades. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Industrial Lubrication and Tribology Emerald Publishing

Abstract

Several papers presented before the S.A.E.
