I had the good fortune to go to the United States for two and half months from August to October, 1950. My journey and stay there were made possible by the award of a Visiting Fellowship to the Yale Law School, by a travel grant to the U.S.A. from the U.S. Educational Commission in the United Kingdom the Fulbright Commission, and a contribution towards maintenance and travel while in the U.S.A. by the Department of State from the SmithMundt Fund. To all these authorities I would like to express my very sincere thanks. Needless to say, I was received with great kindness and given a warm welcome everywhere.
