An investigation of the attitudinal differences between employeesperforming parttime and fulltime work is reported. The study wasdesigned specifically to control for the influence of extraneous factorssuch as job type. In contrast with earlier research the parttimeemployees studied had positive feelings about their jobs thismay relate to the nature of the work involved in this case.
