JISCmail Email discussions JISCmail JISCmail is a free electronic discussion list service specifically Introducing an adult for the higher and further education and research protection email discussion communities. It uses electronic mail to enable groups of group academics and support staff to talk to each other and to share information. There are over 2,900 lists covering subjects such as air pollution, British poets, consumer studies, dental health, ergonomics and food. The ADULT-PROTECTION JISCmail list was established in June 2002 and was created to bring together individuals with an interest in adult protection. The list should be useful for academics, practitioners, managers and service users. JISCmail can be an aid to teaching, research and practice. It is intended that the ADULT-PROTECTION list will help individuals keep up to date with the latest developments, work with other academics, researchers and practitioners on papers and projects, and answer queries quickly. Perspectives from a wide range of disciplines, including psychology, sociology, law, philosophy and criminology are valued and encouraged.
