The working assumption adopted was that information technology ITeffectively managed, would prove to be a means of enabling more studentsto access the power of information. Discusses a range of issuesresources, special projects, staff involvement and training. Threestrategies have now been developed response to expressed needsplaytime and enlightened opportunism. IT qualifications are now beingattained and the school is involved in pioneering work in virtualreality. Argues that, with appropriate resources, time and training,staff in schools can use IT to promote learning as a continuing andliberating process.
