Manders Holdings plc last month announced their results for the year ended 31st December 1991. Turnover at 101.6m was slightly down on 1990's 104.8m, with pretax profits at 6.0m compared with 6.6m for 1990. Roy Amos, chairman, commented In difficult trading conditions the Group's profits and turnover held up well. We increased our penetration in the core business areas of paints and inks and at the yearend we significantly strengthened our position in the retail decorative paint sector with the acquisition of Windeck Paints Ltd.
