FURTHER COMMENTS ON

FURTHER COMMENTS ON In our April 1953 issue, we published a shortened version of a paper by Borge Lunn entitled Some Experiments with Sleeve Bearings which detailed a new test method for assessing the properties of bearing metals for sleeve bearings. The paper was originally presented to the Danish Academy of Technical Sciences in Copenhagen. It will be recalled that the test piece consisted of the bearing metal and a ball bearing which provided the sliding element and the Lvalue was ascertained, the smaller this value the better the bearing metaloil combination. http://www.deepdyve.com/assets/images/DeepDyve-Logo-lg.png Industrial Lubrication and Tribology Emerald Publishing
