From the Editor: Innovation and the Best Part of Birthdays I had a birthday in June (I have a birthday every June). This one was one of the big numbers. Additionally, I purchased an Apple Watch and went on a Boy Scout camping trip with my 12-year-old son. I realize that this isn’t a lot different from what thousands of other men did in June, but I purposefully had a bit of fun with all of this. Specifically, when you have hundreds of kids at a Boy Scout camp and just passed a milestone birthday, you can have a lot of fun with “when I was your age” and “do you know how to use a _____” (fill in the blank yourself). Besides your typical before-the-Internet and rotary dial phones, it does give one the opportunity to reflect on what has changed in your life. Dick Tracy had a watch phone when I was a kid, at a time when all we had was rotary dial, hard line phones. Now, I can actually talk on a wrist phone.
