The principal attraction at the Hanover Messe Industrie this year was a magnificent exhibition set up by the FAMOS organisation of the work of 14 different FAMOS projects. It formed part of the MHI Fair, a section of the Messe relating to assembly, handling and industrial robots which is held every two years. Covering an exhibition area of more than 12,000 square metres, MHI attracted 220 exhibitors, twothirds coming from the host country Germany.
