Developing an intranet: tool selection and management issues Intranet adopts the same information technology that the Internet utilizes for network processing with the exception of system boundaries. Moving corporate systems onto an intranet environment will increase the data traffic within corporate network. In order to smooth out data traffic in the network, adopting a high‐quality management process to the intranet is needed.
