Comparative Analysis of the Textile and Apparel Industries in India and the United States The purpose of this study was to explore relationships betweentextile and apparel manufacturers in India and the United States.Results of the survey indicated that respondents differed significantlyon perceptions of industry opportunities and problems in theirrespective countries. Significant differences were also found betweenindustry leaders in the two countries when various aspects of theirbusiness practices and opinions were examined.
