The purpose of this study was to explore relationships betweentextile and apparel manufacturers in India and the United States.Results of the survey indicated that respondents differed significantlyon perceptions of industry opportunities and problems in theirrespective countries. Significant differences were also found betweenindustry leaders in the two countries when various aspects of theirbusiness practices and opinions were examined. Findings are analysed anddiscussed in relation to their implications for improving globalmarketing strategies, industrial competitiveness, and internationaltrade.
