Booth dispense with type 316 stainless steel Booth dispense with type 316 stainless steel The UK's leading manufacturer of speciality drinks dispensers, Booth Dispensers Ltd of Lytham St. Anne's is now using Sandvik 1802 free cutting stainless steel instead of Type 316 steel for the manufacture of nozzles in its vending equipment. Typical of the use is the production of nozzles for the carbonator can in soft drink machines. In addition Sandvik 1802 can improve production economy where low cutting forces are required and can also reduce machining costs on automatic lathes when used as an alternative to austenitic steel. The claims for machinability are that Sandvik 1802 is most closely comparable to free cutting steels AISI 430F and AISI 416. It possesses about 100% better machin­ machining methods is available from Sandvik Steel UK, ability than the most common stainless free cutting steel, Manor Way, Halesowen, West Midlands B62 8QZ.
