Abstract
Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to report on e‐book readers and e‐book technology at the BookExpo America conference held in New York City, May 2011. Design/methodology/approach – The author attended the conference and compiled a report. Findings – Interest in e‐books is growing and the many companies offering e‐book readers, enhanced e‐books and technology to produce e‐books is increasing. Originality/value – This is an up‐to‐date report on what is happening in the e‐book industry.
