Ladies and gentlemen. I have the honour to speak at today's EUROINFO conference on the day of the opening of BCNet in Poland. I would like to say more about what BCNet is and how important it will be for small and mediumsized Polish companies, which in a time of economic and property changes are looking desperately for partners for economic cooperation all over Europe and the world. Poland has the honour of joining BCNet as the first country from eastern postcommunist Europe. As Mr Hamelinck has mentioned, other partners such as Czechoslovakia and Hungary will soon join BCNet, as well as other partners from outside Europe.
