Purpose – To describe a new online library catalog browser and interface AquaBrowser, developed specifically to enhance the experience of the library patron. Design/methodology/approach – A summary of the main features of the AquaBrowser search engine. Findings – This article provides an overview of AquaBrowser search engine: what it does, how it works, and its benefits. Originality/value – This paper is useful for information management professionals who want to provide an alternative search and display functionality to an online library catalogues.
