The Marathon I M.60 is an allmetal, shortmediumrange aeroplane capable of carrying a maximum of 22 passengers or, by simple adaptation, freight and mixed cargo. Two flight crew first pilot and second pilotnavigator are carried radio is installed immediately aft of the cockpit on the starboard side while directly opposite this location provision is made for a forward freight compartment or a seat for a third crew member. A toilet can be fitted on the lefthand side of the passenger cabin just aft of the entrance door and a space at the rear on theright hand side can be utilized as a wardrobe.
