Reports of the subsequent workshop ofresearchers and policy makers on Improving Public SectorManagement in Africa, at Arusha, Tanzania in April 1990 areexamined, comparisons of the common concerns and dilemmas of the fourcountries are noted, and conclusions are drawn.
