A New OleoPneumatic Strut

A New OleoPneumatic Strut MESSRS. Vickers Aviation Ltd., of Weybridge, Surrey, have recently brought out a new type of oleopneumatic shock absorbing undercarriage strut. This strut is an extremely simple piece of mechanism and consists essentially of an air cylinder and a piston, the working gland between the piston and the cylinder being oil sealed to prevent air leakage.
